As you may be aware, the NDP government has introduced a speculation tax. With this new tax system, all homeowners are required to file for an exemption, and if the homeowner misses the March 31 deadline, they will need to pay the tax. This email is to let you know of this tax, and to remind you of the deadline. We will send out another reminder middle of March.
Please pass this email along to anyone you like. We have no desire for the government to collect tax revenue simply because someone forgot to file the exemption.
