OUR PRICES“What do we charge?” is the most common question we receive (apart from “How do you pronounce Tony’s last name?”). Our standard answer is that our prices are competitive and typically match our competitors in our market locations, but they are not the lowest. There are a number of reasons why clients should choose us over any other law firm or notary public. We are the only law firm totally dedicated to residential conveyancing, and we have a number of features which differentiates us from our competitors. Some of those features include multiple office locations, toll free phone numbers, an up to date website and most of all, lawyers and staff who only practice residential real estate. We are lawyers, not notaries public, and therefore can help if the file starts to get complicated. We recognize that your transaction is a major transaction for you. Our price for a purchase starts at $975.00 plus taxes. This includes all fees and disbursements including all costs associated with preparation and registration of mortgage documents for most lenders. If there is no mortgage, our price starts at $925 plus taxes. Our price for a sale of property starts at $500.00 plus taxes (assuming there is no mortgage to discharge). For each mortgage that needs to be paid out and discharged, add $75.00. Our price for a new mortgage starts at $700.00 plus taxes (assuming there is no mortgage to discharge). For each mortgage that needs to be paid out and discharged, add $75.00. Note that we have a number of referral programs with realtors, mortgage brokers, lenders and developers. These referral programs can result in savings of $50.00 - $100.00. Ask your realtor, mortgage broker, lender or developer if they are one of our referral partners, or give us a call.
